Welcome PTSA parents, students, and staff to another great year at Etowah High School! It is not too late to join the PTSA! Please help us reach our 100% membership goal for this school year!

Etowah Zone Parent Response Team(P.E.R.T.) is recruiting new parents!  This team will be called upon to assist emergency efforts in the event of a school evacuation, at a secure site.

Interested parents must have a flexible schedule, possess good people skills, be able to support emergency guidelines and procedures put in place by the Cherokee County school system andmake sound assessments during difficult situations.  Most importantly, parents need to make sure they have emergency contacts in place for their children before they can assist others.

Mandatory training (approximately 4 hours) has been scheduled for Monday, January 5,2009.

For more information or to sign-up, please contact Nancy Olson at NALOLSON@aol.com.
