  • 2009-2010 Parking Pass Information
Assignment of parking passes will be handled through Mr. Garity’s office for the 2009-2010 school year. Preference will be given to Seniors and work-exit students, then Juniors. Preference considerations will be based on attendance, behavior, and academic standing
Parking Applications and information for the 2009-2010 school year may be printed from the school’s website or picked up in the front administrative office beginning July 7, 2009. Completed Parking Applications should be turned into the Administrative Office no later than July 17th. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
All applications must be accompanied by the following items:                                                                          1. Check made payable to ETOWAH HIGH SCHOOL for the amount of $50. Checks will be returned to students who are not issued parking passes.
    2. Copy of proof of insurance for the vehicle you will be driving to school. Copy must include the expiration date of the policy.
    3. Copy of your valid driver’s license (no learner’s permits will be accepted).
    4. Copy of your valid registration for the car you will be driving to school.
    5. The contact information page (printable from website).                                                               Parking passes will be distributed during the week of July 27. Parking Passes may be picked up at the ATTENDANCE OFFICE at the front of the campus. Seniors may pick up parking passes on Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28. Juniors and sophomores may pick up parking passes on Friday, July 31. Any passes not picked up during that week must be picked up during the first week of classes in Mr. Garity’s office. Passes not picked up by Friday, August 7, will be reassigned to another student.
Parking Passes are subject to revocation for excessive absences and/or tardies. The length of the revocation will be the discretion of the administration and may be for the remainder of the year.
You will not be able to receive a parking decal if you have outstanding fines or fees. See the school bookkeeper to pay any fines or fees.
Reminder: Do not park on Etowah High School’s campus without the proper decal. This includes the first week of school. You will be ticketed, and possibly towed. If you have any questions, consult your student handbook, Officer Rich, or Mr. Garity.

  • Rising ninth graders are encouraged to buy your bricks now as you begin your high school career at Etowah:
Construction of the new Etowah HS Alumni Plaza is underway!  The Wall of Champions and the Spirit of the Eagle monument has been completed.  You may now order your embossed brick with your name and graduation year or message.  These bricks will complete the plaza and place your name in history on our campus.  Bricks are only $50 each and orders can be placed in the main school office, or the form can be downloaded online from the Etowah High School Website.
